I wonder if the Bruins peaked too early on their monstrous run early in the season. I mean I read that playing 5 games in a row has taken a toll on Thomas. Glad Turco can come in relief now but playoffs start and hopefully Thomas doesnt easily tire out.

I was watching the game. Interesting how quickly NBC says it was a direct shot from behind into the numbers. the angles they show he did hit from behind but leaning into onside of the shoulder.

It was a hit from behind but not suspension worthy.

At the end of the day, Penguins finished more of their checks and was a lot more physical than most teams are. Good hockey game.
